Stage
Objective: To bring the awards show up to speed with the new tech as generative AI like ChatGPT and Midjourney had begun to gain traction.
Concept: Centered the theme, brand identity, and intro video on our feelings about AI, a topic both thrilling and daunting for the creative community.The event creative focused on these complex emotions and used AI to bring that feeling to life.
Execution: Employed AI interpolation tools to generate “auras”—blotches of emotional colors representing the creative community’s mixed feelings. These auras formed the brand identity across nomination art, website content, and stage design. From there, we created the intro video that asked people how they felt about this moment in technology and visualized it with AI autogenerative video.
